I have a question,how do you practice to listen and identify a chord. Every time I heard a chord but can't identify which chord is it and which position is it.
First, listen to the base guitar carefully and find a root note of the chord. Then you add other necessary notes to make a chord. Play various chords on a routine basis to check which chord sounds like how. For example, major chords sounds happy, minor chords sounds sad, etc... This will help you a lot when you guess a chord after finding a root note.
I recommend you to watch "How to Play WHITE ALBUM" which I made recently. Then you can actually practice the song and get the answer for the question :D
oh, i intentionally used the distortion effect, though it might not be your taste XD and i just thought some fast phrases would be nice for the climax of the song :D

Thanks! I use BOSS BR-80 as a recorder, but it also has nice built-in effects. As far as I remember, I used one of the preset clean sounds in BR-80 :D

If you keep playing songs by ear and your ears will start to develop and you'll be able to find right notes without tabs.
